Thank goodness the social isolating rules have relaxed in time for all the Gemini birthdays! I didn’t realise how many Gemini people I knew until the last few weeks, which has really kick started seeing friends socially again to help celebrate their birthdays.
Geminis are the liveliest of the Air sign gang – versatile, youthful, curious and fun. They make great company and are fantastic networkers, often having a range of interesting friends from many different areas. They are ruled by Mercury, which makes them intelligent, fast, witty and super into communications.
Gemini people are well know for being one of the most versatile and adaptable personalities in all of the zodiac and they can adjust to new surroundings and circumstances a lot faster than many of the other signs. So when the shit hits the fan they’re more than capable of rolling with the punches no matter what life throws their way!
In the current seriousness of life, I have never enjoyed or appreciated the company of my Gemini family and friends more as they have reminded me of the importance of gathering together for celebration and ritual. Rituals create shared memories, and build friendship relationships and bonds. They make us feel good by creating a sense of identity, security and belonging. They give us permission to stop and to acknowledge the passing of time and the importance of sharing who we are and what we value with each other.
So, in the spirit of celebration (and happy tiredness), I will defer to my favourite Irish poet, John O’Donohue, once more and sincerely wish all the Gemini’s out there the best of times spent in the company of friends and family.
