For the next few days I am sharing the daily Sabian Symbol for the Sun, the ruling Planet of the sign of LEO, from the book “A Screen of Prophecy” by Diana E. Roche. The Sabian Symbols are a set of 360 symbolically descriptive images, each of which is accompanied by an interpretation of each image. Each symbol matches an astrological degree of the 360 degree astrological wheel. They were originally brought into existence on some unrecorded date in 1925 by Marc Edmund Jones and Elsie Wheeler.
Theme : Feedback. This symbol speaks to friendship, enjoyment and the mutual sharing of personal accomplishments with friends and neighbours in a relaxed, social environment. The emphasis here is on interchange, feedback, recognition and appreciation for a job well done. At its highest this symbol represents friendliness, an ability to work well with others and social maturity. Negatively it represents frivolousness and a tendency to live for moment or avoid responsibility.
Opportunity: Your greatest advantage lies in expressing genuine appreciation for the achievement of others. Be encouraging and supportive. Let someone know when you think that have done a good job.
Risk: Guard against bragging or extolling your own virtues. Don’t play the game of one-upmanship. It might bring you down instead.
Supporting each other is even more important now than ever in our ever increasing world of social isolation. New ways of sharing, connecting and encouraging each other need to be embraced in order to ensure we can continue to walk each other home.
