For the next few days I am sharing the daily Sabian Symbol for the Sun, the ruling Planet of the sign of LEO, from the book “A Screen of Prophecy” by Diana E. Roche. The Sabian Symbols are a set of 360 symbolically descriptive images, each of which is accompanied by an interpretation of each image. Each symbol matches an astrological degree of the 360 degree astrological wheel. They were originally brought into existence on some unrecorded date in 1925 by Marc Edmund Jones and Elsie Wheeler.
Theme : Demonstration – A moment of glory. This symbol speaks to pride in accomplishment, and to the public display of the fruits of a cooperative group effort. The image of a pageant conceptualises that magical moment of celebration and fellowship when every individual who has played even a minor role in a project feels himself whole and at one with every other member of the team. The emphasis in this symbol is on group excellence and the dramatic articulation of social ideals.
The accent is on accomplishment through group effort. Genuine fellowship is created as people learn to appreciate each other’s differences and work together in harmony.
Opportunity: Your greatest advantage lies in encouraging everyone to take some part in achieving a common goal. Be supportive and willing to overlook minor mistakes while people are learning and developing their skills.
Risk: Guard against letting perfectionism or your desire to win, overcome your obligation to your fellows. Don’t brush aside or exclude those whose abilities or knowledge don’t meet your standards.
Having just heard that a demonstration is planned for Brisbane to block the Story Bridge tomorrow and looked at the astrology I would suggest that unless the demonstrators are working with the authorities this is not a good idea because they are putting themselves and the general community at risk. There will always be another time to gather resources and gain public support without the heavy burden of COVID-19!
